An Average Day
My day blends hands-on oversight with strategic planning and constant communication. I review production schedules and performance metrics from the previous day. You’ll also find me leading daily operations meetings with supervisors and communicating with other departments to align goals and resolve cross-functional challenges. Walking the production floor to observe operations helps to ensure safety and quality standards are being met, and address any immediate issues or bottlenecks. I analyze production data and then adjust plans to meet targets. I also lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Past experience
I have spent the last eight years in various manufacturing settings filling roles such as Project Manager, Account Manager, and Manufacturing Program Leader. Using Lean Manufacturing principles, I have led teams to improve processes, reduce waste, increase capacity, and improve quality.
Fun fact
I have two small children and spend my time either playing with kids or doing home improvement projects.
