An Average Day
An average day for me, if there is such a thing, involves scheduling resources to ensure that each project is manufactured on time and to spec. I’m frequently checking the status of materials needed, developing ETAs, and coordinating efforts among our production staff.
Past experience
My career path has taken me thorough a variety of experiences including sales, purchasing, estimating, and product design. This became the perfect training ground for skills I use every day at LJ.
Favorite memory
Prior to joining LJ, I knew LJ’s then president. We bumped into each other at the hardware store and he casually mentioned he was in need of a new production manager and asked me to keep an eye out. We ended up bumping into each other two more times (at the same hardware store)! And the third time he mentioned his need for a new production manager, I decided I could take the hint and told him that I’d like to learn more… the rest is, as they say, history.
Fun fact
During my free time, you’ll often find me camping, fishing, gardening, cooking, or enjoying different shooting sports.
